Smoothies are my go-to breakfast in the warm summer months. It provides the best way to pack a big punch of goodness into my body first thing in the morning. I don’t have a go-to recipe, I usually just throw whatever I have in my kitchen into a blender. This recipe here turned out delicious but I’ll be sure to post my uber-healthy smoothie recipe soon.
I always pack them full of herbs and adaptogens: slippery elm, ashwagandha, maca and the like. If I’m being honest, I don’t go for taste with my morning smoothies – I go for packing it chalk full of all the superfoods and herbs I can fit in it. Stay tuned for that recipe!
