Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp black sesame seed butter
  • 5 cups purified water
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Stevia (to taste, or 2 tsp raw honey)

Black Sesame Seed Milk
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender. Blend for a minute on high. This milk will keep in fridge for 4-5 days in a sealed glass bottle.

This seed milk is rich, healing and majorly delicious in matcha, coffee, oats, granola, etc. etc.! Enjoy.

This seed milk takes minutes to make and is deeply nourishing. I used a raw and organic black sesame seed butter. It’s a good idea to switch up your nut milk consumption from time to time with a seed milk. You can also use a white sesame seed tahini if you aren’t able to find black sesame seed butter.

I highly suggest making your own nut or seed milk weekly. Grocery-bought nut milks often only contain 2% nuts but what’s worse are the additives like carrageenan which has been linked to inflammation and ulceration. There really is no need for it in your diet or body. I hope the simplicity of this recipe inspires you to make your own!
